Ladies, gentlemen, and people of no particular gender leaning,
If anyone ever pulls this with you, run. Run fast and run far.

Okay but seriously, I keep thinking about these notes and I realized something. There’s a very good chance that someone has already played/will play this game and read these notes and make connections with a relationship of their own (whether it’s with a partner/family member/friend) and realized how toxic and dangerous it can be, which (will) lead them to separate themselves from that person and be safe. Or if the player is younger, they’ll be able to recognize it when they’re older and stay away from harmful relationships like that.
This game might literally save someone’s life!

This plotline is up there with the villain of SAW and the crimes in CAP in terms of being really genuinely scary in a real-world way to me. I think it’s great that HeR will occasionally put these kinds of things in the games because it is a part of the world and it is something that much of the customer demographic will end up having to deal with. I myself have had a stalker and countless other dudes have gotten creepy towards me, so I love that the games will acknowledge that yes, people will try to prey on people, and though in the games it is usually young women who are the victims I could see it being relatable and edifying to others as well.
